This is supposed to be my “About” page. Which I assume means I’m supposed to tell you about myself. But really – what am I supposed to say?

Other than that – I live the most complicated simple life imaginable. I’m a student at the University of Sydney studying for a Master’s Degree. I’ve been accused of being a bit prissy and maybe a touch too proper. My favorite things in this world are being alive, loving (anything,) learning, laughing, being a girl, and my amazing family.
I find that boy drama is attracted to me like the Earth is attracted to the sun. And as such I often have a crush on a boy, hate a boy, and am also dating more than one boy all at the SAME TIME.
Oh and I like to mix my food together at Thanksgiving – some people think that’s really gross.

Hey there! I’m a 25-year-old Floridian girl looking to move to Sydney sometime next fall. Your blog came up while I was doing some research and I’ve been reading it for a few weeks, you do a great job with it. I have a few friends in Sydney but they’re Australian and as helpful as they are I would looove to get an American perspective of life there. Shoot me an email if you’d like to give me some guidance :)
Hiya! I stumbled upon your blog this morning and started reading it, its fantastic! I became a little homesick since I grew up in Australia and now am living in the states. Anyways I hope you figure everything out. You are a gorgeous and sound like a wonderful person.Have a safe trip and Merry Xmas : )
While Googling anything (and everything!) about an American’s approach to life in Australia, your blog came up – you’re a very engaging and humourous writer. As I will be moving Down Under in a month to spend three years there (like you, earning my Master’s degree), I’ve really been enjoying reading about your experiences and opinions. Thanks for sharing with the rest of the world! Best of luck to you in your continued adventures! :) Cheers!
Hey,
I started to read your blog since we both have a mutual friend/acquaintance. And, needless to say, I have continued to read it. This may sound a bit stalker-ish (which I am not!!) but I really enjoy your all too honest and quirky writings. :)
i think its good to date more than one at the same time. it keeps you out of serial monogamy.. bleh.
Hey “Daisy”,
Pardon me! P L E A S E! That I write you, because normally I don’t do “things like this” Okay NO normally I do things like this…..:-)
But how I get the attition to going on your – btw fabulous blog – is a bit abnormal I think! Why I spionage somebody else!?? Why I look into somebodys life? I don’t have friends, a social life, …..?!?!? Yes I do but …the reason is I doing currently my internship at a company where you got in touch with a couple of weeks ago (I not sure if I could tell the name, but I tried to send you an e-mail but I think it didn’t works, so it could be that you have a an EMPTY PAGE – I am sooooo sorry for that!).
So I just “crashed” into your “life” and I like it! It’s such an happy, easy-going, funny, good-mood blog and I really like your spelling style!! It’s grabbing, it’s enjoyable and it will be improving my english skills as well ( I really hope that, because I think you can see on my spelling style that I am a non-native speaker).
I just would like to tell you that and maybe more soon, but I know time is flying….alot of things everybody have to do and you have alot of dates as well (you wrote that!!!). Me too :-) but a lot of asholes!! It’s soooo complecated to find a good, tidy, well educated, not just BLABLA and of course rich *lol* husband…..
Take care and enjoy your day (which day it ever is if you read that)
Cheers
Stefan*

Hi there! I’m a Colorado expat living in Sydney (with my Aussie husband) having a bit of a hard time meeting other Americans living here. I came across your blog by chance and thought perhaps you’d like to meet up for a drink some time in the city. It’d be nice to have someone to share common experiences with!
Hi Daisy,
You seem like a real sweetheart! Living in Australia sounds to me to be a very exciting place. And those two dogs in your life and very cute! I have a soft spot in my heart for dogs too.
I am so glad you happened by my place and left a comment so I could come by and visit with you!
Kindly, ldh
@no comment – Thank you!!
You are welcome!! You keep me entertained at work….I swear, its almost sad that I play solitaire at least 15 time a day and wish I could just move to Australia…
CPACS is missing you. Please have some time off and come around to meet new people and the old ones
