I’m not an element in your metaphorical business transaction.

Hello everyone! I’m in New Zealand. It’s sooooooooooooo cold here. Sooooooooooooo cold. I was going to go camping and be internet-less for a week – but this weather is a nightmare and so NOW I’m going back to the original plan to stay with my FM’s GF in her work condo. 

FUNNY AND ANNOYING STORY OF THE DAY!!!

I had a trackback/ping thing from a new website today.  It was one I’d never seen before and it was a forum – not a blog – so it SUPER spiked my interest.   The last time someone posted my blog in a forum it was written all in Russian and they were making fun of me because I hate cockroaches. Yes – it’s true.  They critiqued and analyzed and debated my being a baby.  I had the forum translated – yeah … I got over 400 hits from that one.  Nice huh? [insert evil eyes]

So anyway – seeing a new forum trackback with multiple hits spiked my interest again.  I wondered what they had to say about me THIS time.  I clicked on the link and saw this:

[long pause]   Oh dear me.    [long pause]    You can stop laughing now please.  MattyMatt – my BFF – was a dear and registered to the site so I could know what was said (you have to register for this particular one to read it.)  Here is what was written:

Working on my inner core, I had, just had to sit next to a hot HB from the U.S. even though the class was half full. I ended up closing. She ended up offering me help in creating a online blog with my very own URL after i dropped some hints.

Oh h.e. double. Big sigh.  There are 1000 things wrong with this – BESIDES the grammar mistake – AN online blog.  Let me just give you a few:

• I am NOT a business transaction – nor am I a commodity for which a deal can be “closed” on.
• I offered to help because I LOVE BLOGGING!!!  And I like helping people. My friendliness does NOT indicate interest.
• Ok – on a lighter note – does anyone else think it’s funny/cute that he included a LINK to my page? He had to SHOW the other guys who he was talking about. I’m flattered.  And I WOULD feel guilty that I’m making this public but he obviously doesn’t READ my blog because if he DID read my blog he wouldn’t have mistaken my friendliness for a possible transition!!

Back to the story … here’s what I’m going to do – I’m going to offer to help:

Just shoot me an email – I have a whole list of “deal breakers” that you should avoid.  One of which being the reference to a woman as an “H.B.”   AND … just because I’m half “infomercial” anyway – I am going to offer to throw in some EXTRA advice from some of my successful playa friends.  OORRR …we could possibly ask CC+4 for advice.  He has major game – he still has my attention almost 2 months after the cruise and despite the fact that he lives 8,000 miles away.
