Have you ever noticed that U.S. Public Libraries are treasure chests full of the worst movies ever? I’m back home in the U.S. now – came home 2 weeks earlier than expected for a little Merry Christmas surprise for my parents. They had NO idea!
YAY! How fun!!
Before I left I got permission to turn in one of my final essays a couple of days late (because I would be traveling) and so I needed to head over to the public library today for some research. And let me tell you I am SO glad I did. Our public library has a whole section of DVDs that never should have been made. And RIGHT NOW ScottPete and I are watching a Halloween Town trilogy marathon. HAHAHAHA!
Oh how I’ve missed home! Where else could I watch really sucky Halloween movies 2 weeks AFTER Halloween?
But I have to say – I miss my other home too. Yes, I typed that correctly. Bondi finally feels like home.
And though it’s great to see my family again – I will be excited to return to Australia!!
Australia has some bad points – but maybe no more than Utah.
So … Cheers! I’ll miss you Australia and can’t wait to get back. Xx ~Daisy
Omgosh – gag me now! Was that some sappy crap or what? Thank goodness it’s over!!!
But for realzzz – it will be good to get back to Bondi. ![]()
If I had children and they went abroad and then suddenly returned home I’d be so suprised and happy. All I hope is that I had my pants on when I answered the door..the last two posts make sense, giving your mother the impression that you were still in Sydney. Clever girl.
And seriously, why can’t you just say you miss Sydney and not Bondi. I know you’ve seen very little of this city..Bondi has never and will never be the best this city has to offer unless this were a best of the worst competition (please get out and see more of this place when you get back, seriously). Still, good to see you call Australia home. Just don’t turn up at the door before you can be assured we wont be wearing our pants.
You’re home! yay! call me, we’ll do lunch ;)
