Say Chee-eeese!

Oh I am a stubborn little girl sometimes. For example this post where I spitefully plastered pictures of myself smiling because too many people tell me I don’t smile enough. :) And even after my hard labors easily finding tons of pics where I’m smiling – I STILL hear that I don’t smile enough! Ok ok – look FINE!!! YOU WIN! Next Tuesday (are we doing another Photo Fun Tuesday Orhan?) I promise that I will SMILE! But gosh darn-it I’ll do it spitefully! [insert evil eyes and evil smile here] hee hee!

Another example is my current inner turmoil about whether to write MIUB out of my blog. On one hand I think, “I’m not going to let him sway my blog – I’ll write about whatever I want.”

And on the other hand I think, “He actually WANTS to be in my blog and the last thing I need or want to do is cater even MORE to him. I don’t need to feed his OUTRAGEOUSLY huge ego.” And yes I added “OUTRAGEOUSLY” in the hope that he reads it!!! :-p

So yeah … I’m going to write an essay now. It’s probably going to be about intra-personal conflict because I seem to be an expert on it. Then I’ll write ANOTHER one about how I’m a cultural melting pot and THEN maybe then will I have cooled the “I Hate Boys and more specifically ones with huge egos” steam enough to finally explain how I’ve created a monster.

  1. You just make sure we have more than a few hours this time and I’m sure we will get that pretty smile reaching from ear to ear.

To be fair, in the last set of pictures she was with me and I do bring the rage out of this young American girl all too easily. I blame the Arab in me and the American in her.

  2. The ego is not the only thing of his that is huge. You seen this man’s eyebrows? I know I’m always getting on him for them but they’re large, wriggly abominations. Every time I look into his eyes I feel overcome by a sense of impending doom.

  3. Clearly if he want to search for you in terms of blogging, then he cares what you write. A man who didn’t care wouldn’t have bothered and it’s obvious that he does.

On the other hand, blogging is fun – write about what you want.
