Yes that would be ME with the chubby face.

As I looked at the pics taken of me today (showcased in the blog post below this one …) I was like – oh my gosh who is that Fatty McFatty with the swollen face?

And mom – please don’t say you can’t tell :) Because if you take a CLOSER look you’ll see my chin and cheeks are a little “softer” than they were in the pics I posted just a couple days ago.

Why is this? Because I ate Gluten AND Dairy a LOT this week. Voila – instant swollen face.

Why did I do it? Because I hate being an inconvenience to my friends. They want sushi – I go eat sushi (soy sauce is a gluten nightmare) – a friend is serving crepes for brunch? I eat crepes for brunch. But these pics are a great reminder that I need to start embracing my high maintenance-ness. No more gluten or dairy for me – regardless of the inconvenience. It really can’t be very healthy for me to go around as Fatty McFatty Chubby Face … especially since it’s only a reaction to food.

Oh how I hope it doesn’t take as long as normal for me to get back to normal!!!
